Due to the floods in September 2013, Shellys Cottages has closed. Bank of the West was not willing to help extend our loan and we could not pay the bills, clean up and rebuild with the property down for the past 10 months. We want to thank everyone for the kind words and support.

Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes. After multiple reports that Shelly's was underwater, I am happy to post the buildings have minimal damage. The property took a bad hit. We lost a lot of land, roads, swings, island, bridge sprinklers, well, pumps, etc, etc, etc, but it could have been much worse. Our family and the 6 guests we had on site all made it out safe. The roads to Shelly's have all been washed away with temporary roads to be in place by December. Once we can get equipment to the property we can start our work. The next few months will let us know what we can do with the property. We are hoping things fall in place and we get our land that washed away back and we can get business up and going as soon as possible. Keep check back for updates and a reopening date.

Well, the news isn't good. Will see more tomorrow with an overhead but news on Shellys doesn't look good. Will update tomorrow . Troy, Kim, Dakotah and the guests at Shellys mage it out safe and sound. Thanks for all the Thoughts and prayers

Deer had 2 babies on the property. Very cool to see them a couple minutes after birth.
