Computer work isn't my favorite thing to do, but with all the assistance with the AI prompts and searches the process was very simple. Its very achievable to do on your own if your curious I used Squarespace.

So check it out... I love it. I'm still working on it, but the just is there and the contact forms for submitting to be a vendor at the Painted Painted Clover's Market

This summer my goal is to relax more. Ive made changes to my deck shade structure and finally brought my husband's grills/smoker/and flat top from the front to the back patio. I invested in some hydrangea bushes and making some boarder changes.

And yes... that is me relaxing. Mostly when I get done with what I want this year so I can sit back, enjoy and plan for next year's additions.

Is your backyard the way you want it? If so... how long did it take you to get it there?

Finally got my curtains in for extra porch time!

Our patio gets BAKED in the sun. These natural linens are just what I needed.

Feels like im sitting in a cabana. But my pool boy is at work 😅

When i adopted Daisy from the humane society... she was very small. I wanted a small adventure buddy and she was so sad and afraid that I wanted to save her. So I did. I brought her home one year ago. She has double dew claws on her back feet, which I thought were weird. So I did some research and spoke to my vet and asked if she thought she was mixed with a great Pyrenees. She assured me Daisy does not look anything like a great Pyrenees.. and she didnt. The shelter had her down as a chihuahua and cattle dog mix from good ol' Mississippi.

Which is where i moved from when I moved to Ohio.

So for Christmas I asked for a doggie DNA test.

Turned out my little future travel companion WAS 55% Great Pyrenees! Shes also part of many of my favorite breeds of dogs.

As for the travel buddy... not so much. She is anxious when not at home.

She takes her guardianship over her property pretty serious. She demands to patrol her grounds often when shes inside but prefers to be outside.

She barks..... oh, does she bark. My neighbors love her. Lol. Shes just doing what her little body and brain were programmed to do.

Shes still just a baby. She has some maturing to do and she drives ne nuts with the notification of absolutely any movement outside of her perimeter.

Here she is... monitoring the front yard from the back of my couch... shes the biggest little dog around.

Have you adopted a young dog or puppy expecting one thing and end up getting a woospsie "Daisy " ?? Lol

This is the next life for the Lincoln House.
Meeting Julie Russian and hearing her mission and self-proclaimed purpose after the loss of her grandmother and son, she has brought Jack and Irene's WISH House to fruition while keeping the history of the Lincolns alive and honored while giving affordable, assisted living to those who need it most.

Something big happened yesterday.

After everything was signed and I went home I walked out to my deck and just sat there. The weather was perfect for soaking it all in.

The truth is, I haven't really had a chance to breathe in a long time.

I have given the Lincoln House Inn almost everything I had to give. The renovations. The uncertainty. The loss of a dream, a friendship, a sense of certainty and layer of security for myself and my family......

All in pursuit of a vision.

But I believed in that vision!

I believed that old house on Main Street deserved to be restored. I believed its history deserved to be shared, enjoyed, cared for, and preserved for the people who come after us.

It's been hard, you guys.

Like, really hard.

But somehow things lined up in a way I never expected and now my vision gets to live on through someone else's mission, and when the time is right, I can't wait to tell you more about it.

For now, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for following along. Thank you for supporting my crazy ideas. Thank you for cheering me on when things looked uncertain.

Yesterday, for the first time in a long while, I truly exhaled and it felt so good.
