Twin Turrets Inn Beautiful victorian style bed & breakfast in downtown Boyertown, Pa A Delightful Stay is Assured! Hello! Personally I wear many hats.

My husband Frank and I welcome you to The Twin Turrets Inn. And, our English Springer Spaniel, Elizabeth Queen of the Turrets, affectionately known as Lizzie, will also welcome you with her toy. Frank is the President of Boyertown’s Borough Council and I am currently serving my third term as Mayor. I wear one kind of hat when watching The Boyertown Bears at our fantastic Bear Stadium. Bear Stadium

was built in 1982 by volunteers to host the World Series of American Legion Baseball. Bear Stadium doesn’t have a bad bounce on the field and to this day, no one is compensated for working there. As Mayor, there are other hats to wear as I also lead our fantastic Halloween Parade, our patriotic Memorial Day Parade and tap the first keg of our annual Octoberfest celebration. I also perform wedding ceremonies. Thus I am referred to as “Merry Marianne the Marrying Mayor”. When I am not donning the various hats, I am In the kitchen. I don’t need a hat In the kitchen but I do need an apron and an adjustable wrench. Yes I can do plumbing with this instrument, but mostly it is used to open those hard to open lids. Some of you ladies can relate to that. As an innkeeper, I have truly been blessed by the most wonderful customers in the world. Some of my guests are just passing through but many of you have become more than acquaintances; we have developed true friendships.

On February 1, 2019 I celebrated 25 years as owner/innkeeper to the Twin Turrets Inn. Through the years, I have been blessed with meeting so many fine and interesting people; people from all walks of life and various cultures around the globe.

Boyertown’s revitalization continues to draw niche businesses. We have a wonderful park and there are plenty exciting events throughout the year for children, adults and families.

The Colebrookdale Secret Valley Railroad, Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, the vintage State Theatre, Studio B Studio of the arts, Boyertown Area Historical Society and coming soon the Carl Spaatz war museum, all this and more makes Boyertown a unique destination.

Come visit and stay awhile. You will be glad you did!

The State Tournement of American Legion Baseball is still in progress but unfortunately The Boyertown Bears were eliminated. I might mention that the umpires for the tournement stayed at Twin Turrets and they said our fans and locals were extremely nice. Also was able to meet some parents who travelled from the western part of our state to support their teams. By the way, they loved our shops. We are developing a very special niche that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. I am always complimented by the friendlyness of our merchants.

I held the cuties puppy today from Zimmers. Folks you have to stop in at Zimmers.

Upcoming event sponsored by BBB is the Dog Days of Augast. The event is Saturday, 8/18. See BBB's website for details. Come downtown and see the wonderful streetscape. The volunteerism for this project was tremendous. The dedication is scheduled for Saturday August 25. Also on the horizon is our Octoberfest 9/15.
