And best of all, completely relax on the dock, the deck, and floating in the water! (Pro tip, lying on that trampoline is a perfect place to kick off your summer tan and feel the waves!)

The 16 foot water trampoline, lily pad and SUPs are out and ready, and the 8 person Hot Tub is calling your name!

PS If my son didn’t have volleyball playoffs this weekend, and I weren’t in it up to my eyeballs with my daughter‘s HS graduation, I would absolutely be there for this glorious weather weekend coming up!

That just means it’s someone else’s bonus weekend mini-escape!

🇺🇸Happy Memorial Day! Let this day be a tribute to all who have served and do serve.

Whether you’re in the military, or family quietly supporting at home, this day is for all of you.

My grandfather was a civilian engineer & physicist pulled into service as part of the team on the Manhattan Project. What people don’t know is that there was no military base for families when they began.

My grandmother lived for over a year in a hotel in Albuquerque with their infant son, not knowing every morning if today would be the day her husband showed up to claim them, or if he *ever* would.

While we enjoy the simple choice of “fire pit or dock,” today is a day to remember that there are those making split-second decisions whether to throw themselves on a gr***de and save their company.

This was my friend’s real story today, and it happens more often than we know. So while it might be easy to look at Memorial Day as wanting a hotdog real bad, let’s not forget how much deeper this goes.

We have been absolutely honored to have many veterans stay here. We’re honored to host all of you.

Wishing you treasured time with those you love today and always!

Made it to Jenny Cakes at the Lake before the line got insane!

I’m a classic chocolate frosted girl, but I HAD to try the lemon 🍋 and I might just be a convert!!! Perfectly crispy outer sugar layer, soft bite, and a lemon filling that’s not too sweet and not too tart!

My dad died when I was 28. I watched my mom slowly forget us with Alzheimer’s.

We didn’t just build a lake house. We built you a container for the moments that you will remember. The ones you want to hold onto.💙

Introducing the Honey Hole! Right by the house, run by one of our favorite restaurants we already know and love!
