Lake Gaston is one of the truly most outstanding lakes in the country. It is over 20,000 acres of "high quality" water, 34 miles long, and approximately one and one half miles wide at the lower end of the lake. Lake Gaston is well stocked with game fish including striped bass or rockfish, large mouth bass, crappie, sunfish, and several varieties of catfish. Other species of fish sometimes caught a

re walleye, yellow perch, and chain pickeral. A valid license for Virginia or North Carolina permits fishing in "the lake" in either state, from boats or shore, in waters accessible by boat. No license is required for those under 16 years of age. Located at: 9 Lakeside Lane, Bracey, Va. 23919

FROM THE NORTH: Take I-85 south to Exit 4 (Bracey, Lake Gaston) at Exit 4, turn left on Rt. 903 and go East 5 miles. Our entrance is on the right. FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-85 north to Exit 4 (Bracey, Lake Gaston) at Exit 4, turn right on 903 and go East 5 miles. FROM THE EAST: Take VA Rt. 58 west to South Hill, Va. Then take I-85 south to the next exit, Exit 4. At exit, turn left on Rt. 903 and go east 5 miles. FROM THE WEST: Take VA Rt. 58 east to South Hill, Va. At the exit, turn left on Rt. 903 and go east 5 miles.

🎤 KARAOKE CANCELED FOR THIS WEEKEND 🎤

With several overnight camping cancellations this weekend, along with lower participation in Karaoke over the past couple of months, we have made the decision to cancel Karaoke for this weekend.

While the forecast is looking a little better, there is still the possibility of scattered storms, strong winds, and localized flooding. Taking everything into consideration, we feel canceling Karaoke is the best decision.

We are still planning for Tripwire Band to perform tomorrow night! 🎶 We’d love to see a great turnout, so come out, bring your friends and neighbors, and enjoy a fun night of live music with us! ❤️

👻 Saturday, October 31st • Starting at 6:00 PM!

Get those costumes ready and grab your candy buckets! It’s time to TRICK OR TREAT around the campground! 🧙‍♀️🍭👻

🍫 WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAND OUT CANDY?
We would LOVE to have as many participating sites as possible!

👉 Please sign up on the list at the store by NOON on Friday, October 30th if you plan to hand out candy.

📋 FOR OUR TRICK-OR-TREATERS:
On Saturday morning, we will have a list available at the store showing all participating sites handing out candy. Be sure to grab a copy so you know exactly where to find the treats! 🍬🍫🍭

⚠️ PARENTS & GUARDIANS:
Anyone 14 years old and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian while Trick-or-Treating.
