The Love Shack’s post hurricane renovations have been completed. We were also able to purchase the adjoining lot giving the residents of the Love Shack a double beachfront lot to enjoy to themselves. There are multiple areas to sit in the sun or the shade. Two hammocks are available for afternoon naps. The yard is surrounded by a rustic rope fence to delineate your private beach. In the near future we plan to put a pool on the next door lot to make the Love Shack the absolute best private beach front experience on AMI (at least in my opinion!). We hope to be able to build a poolside gazebo and extend the driveway to make a circular drive.

Another Bradenton Beach homeowner has successfully fought the city’s condemnation of his hurricane-damaged home.

The Love Shack survived Idalia with only minimal damage. We lost the dune and sea grass in the front yard. Thankfully the storm surge didn't make it to the house.

Enjoyed another wonderful week at the Love Shack. Although we had a couple of rainy days the Love Shack and AMI are still my favorite!!!

Every morning we had a visitor on the front porch. We drank our coffee and he would do push ups and sit in the sun. Our presence didn’t seem to interrupt his morning routine. We named him “Shack”.

During the day the Love Shack’s UV blocking mirrored windows reflect the beach and the sun. The last 3 pictures show the nighttime view from outside. With the blinds up the inside of the Love Shack is in plain view from the yard. However the with the blinds down (next to last picture) the lights in the yard are reflected. The last picture shows the bathroom window with the privacy setting turned on. There is a person standing in the bathroom looking out of window the between the two mirrors and their shadow isn’t seen.

We were blessed with a beautiful rainbow for our morning coffee. The perfect way to start each day …. Coffee on the Love Shack porch!
