Always great to see local businesses get recognition!

Tucked away in a Sarasota-Manatee strip mall near the beach, this bar and grill serves an excellent grouper sandwich and equally great burger.

! This week, it's a photo of the old wooden Cortez Bridge, which was built in 1921, with a line drawn on the photo to show the projected route of the new bridge, which was built in 1957. This aerial view looks west from the Cortez bayfront from Cortez to Anna Maria Island.

Yesterday we spent a couple of hours on the water with Gulf Islands Adventures. They have two-person Craigcat® catamarans that are so much fun. It was a great chance to see the water around AMI. Worth considering for your next visit!
