SUPER SATURDAY UPDATE!!!
We have so much to show and share with you all!
First, no we are not able to open just yet.... this is not something we can control. Currently, we are working diligently with TDEC to get our water certified. This is not a simple process and there are several parts to the process that need to be done to complete it. After we are certified, then we have to go through the county health department for their inspection and final approval to officially open our doors! Unfortunately we have no idea at this point on when this will be completed. We will keep everyone updated as we know more.
Second, we have widened and and completely redone the entrance of the campground from both directions on S. Ore rd. You are now greeted with a spacious 40+ feet of two lanes that allow ease of entry and exit to the campground with even the biggest of rigs!
Third, we added the new CHECK-IN OFFICE at the start of the campground. This office is will be your first stop when coming to camp with us. We will get you quickly checked in and give you important information about your stay with us.
Fourth, we started with a pretty bare grass and muddy field and now three months of hard work the transformation is astounding! Huge thanks to Davidson dirt worx and a ridiculous amount of chert, rock, gravel, and crush n run!
fifth, we have added an 6 additional bathrooms to the campground! The addition of the new ADA compliant bathroom house added 3 woman's and 3 men's, climate controlled bathrooms. This new bathroom house will be open to visitors and campers alike. We do also have the 2 original Shower Bathrooms which are now gender specific (one men's and one woman's) for our campers only to use.
And finally, we have added a brand new road up on the ridge for ease of access to our current RV Boondocking, Primitive Tent and Electric Access Tent Campsites!! This was a big project and I can tell you it was worth it as now campers can easily access their camp spots without worrying about getting stuck in the mud!
