This family enjoyed the Lake cottage this past weekend to celebrate their daughters 16th birthday. They sent me these pictures and wanted me to share how much fun can be had with the canoes kayaks and fishing off the dock. They also spend time hiking at Watkins Glen State Park (15 min drive away). Very fun to see people out enjoying God's creation. We still have limited summer days available but many fall dates available yet. Dates still available for summer weekdays, fall weekdays and weekends also available. This cottage is also available for winter months and there is still plenty to enjoy in the area even though it's not peak season. We have had several guests this past winter and they all enjoyed the peaceful getaway by the frozen lake. Check out the link for availability

While it is very much winter outside with the lake being frozen and snow covered. It is very warm inside the cottage with additional games and activities being added to spend the time indoors.

The temperatures are dropping so we have added additional items (heaters, fleece throws, more seating) inside to better accommodate time spent indoors. The lake is very pretty, clean, and peaceful this time of year. (no sea w**d, no docks or boats, and very calm water due to minimal boat activity). Starting to feel like fall in the finger lakes. Air is cooling, leaves are changing, grape harvest is in full swing at the nearby vineyards. The water is still a warm temperature for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The sunsets are very colorful this time of year and with the patio facing the West it is perfect to enjoy while sitting out by a fire. We just got this fully listed now as a vacation rental so there is still availability for anyone that wants to, or knows someone who would want to, enjoy fall in the finger lakes.
