This is the startup 174 years in the making... and still full of life! Facebook wants us to finish our story page but I don’t think we can.

The Rosewood Country Inn traces its roots back to 1891 when the home was a destination for the wealthy escaping Boston summers. The wives and children would stay for the summer, with the husbands commuting up to visit on weekends via the steam train from Boston. We count as past guests: Charlie Chaplin and his wife, Mary Pickford (silent film starlet), Douglas Fairbanks, and the Keebler family as

past guest names we have found in the old registries. Come wander the country lanes, or take a walk in the woods to visit the deer and other wildlife that call our slice of heaven home. Our story is not done yet. We are not done meeting everyone at our Inn or enjoying the New Hampshire views. The Inn has been around for over a hundred years, but OUR story with Pleasant View Farm, now called Rosewood Country Inn, is just starting. Our story is building every day.

Even brunch needs a day off once in a while. 😊

We'll be taking a little personal time this Sunday, so the coffee pots will be quiet, the buffet will be empty, and the bacon gets the weekend off too.

To all the students getting ready to begin their college adventure...

Congratulations! 🎓

You're about to meet new friends, discover new passions, make unforgettable memories, and yes... probably learn that doing laundry is an actual life skill.

To all the parents...

Take lots of pictures. Give one more hug. And don't worry if your house feels a little quieter afterward. It simply means you did your job well.

This Sunday, we'd love to celebrate this exciting milestone with you over brunch before many of our students head off to begin their next chapter.

This year, our own Rosewood family has two very special graduates beginning their college adventures: Karl and Sophia. We've watched them work hard, grow, and become an important part of our team, and we couldn't be prouder of both of them. We wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Because we'll be helping with college move-in weekend, "Moments at the Rosewood" will be closed for brunch on Sunday, August 16. We'll be back the following week, ready to hear all about their new adventures.
