Rosewood Country Inn This is the startup 174 years in the making... and still full of life! Facebook wants us to finish our story page but I don’t think we can.

The Rosewood Country Inn traces its roots back to 1891 when the home was a destination for the wealthy escaping Boston summers. The wives and children would stay for the summer, with the husbands commuting up to visit on weekends via the steam train from Boston. We count as past guests: Charlie Chaplin and his wife, Mary Pickford (silent film starlet), Douglas Fairbanks, and the Keebler family as past guest names we have found in the old registries. Come wander the country lanes, or take a walk in the woods to visit the deer and other wildlife that call our slice of heaven home. Our story is not done yet. We are not done meeting everyone at our Inn or enjoying the New Hampshire views. The Inn has been around for over a hundred years, but OUR story with Pleasant View Farm, now called Rosewood Country Inn, is just starting. Our story is building every day.

Ties are optional. Good appetites are encouraged! 👔

This Sunday is International Necktie Day, and we're celebrating the Rosewood way: with good food, fresh coffee, and a table where everyone is welcome.

Whether your favorite tie is striped, polka-dotted, or hasn't left the closet in years, come as you are!

Stan has the brunch covered. All you need to bring is your appetite.

The past two weeks have been filled with celebrations at Rosewood, and we’ve loved every minute of it.

We were honored to help several wonderful groups celebrate special moments in their lives, sharing good food, laughter, and time with the people who matter most. There is something especially meaningful about seeing our little corner of New Hampshire become part of someone else’s story.

To everyone who trusted us with their celebration, thank you. It was truly our pleasure to be part of it. ❤️

Another beautiful September weekend is here! 🍂

If you're looking for somewhere to wander this Saturday, there's plenty happening around us, from LebFest in Lebanon to the Sunapee Farmers Market and a couple of our favorite local museums.

Saturday looks beautiful for exploring, too. ☀️

This Sunday happens to be Day of the Programmer, celebrated on the 256th day of the year because apparently even holidays need to be coded properly.

So we're doing our part.

Brunch() has been successfully compiled.
Coffee is loading.
The buffet is online.
And calories have been temporarily commented out.

No programming experience required. If you can operate a fork, you're qualified. 😂
