The Rosewood Country Inn traces its roots back to 1891 when the home was a destination for the wealthy escaping Boston summers. The wives and children would stay for the summer, with the husbands commuting up to visit on weekends via the steam train from Boston. We count as past guests: Charlie Chaplin and his wife, Mary Pickford (silent film starlet), Douglas Fairbanks, and the Keebler family as

past guest names we have found in the old registries. Come wander the country lanes, or take a walk in the woods to visit the deer and other wildlife that call our slice of heaven home. Our story is not done yet. We are not done meeting everyone at our Inn or enjoying the New Hampshire views. The Inn has been around for over a hundred years, but OUR story with Pleasant View Farm, now called Rosewood Country Inn, is just starting. Our story is building every day.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who taught us how to grill, fix things with duct tape, tell legendary dad jokes, and somehow fall asleep in the recliner in under three minutes.

Thank you for the love, wisdom, laughter, and countless ways you make life better.

We hope your day is filled with family, good food, and at least one well-deserved nap.

What a wonderful day.

The weather made things a little warmer than some of us would have preferred, but the beautiful setting, the towering trees, and the welcoming atmosphere made it a day to remember.

We were honored to be part of the Dartmouth Alumni Class of 1987 gathering and grateful for the opportunity to help in such a unique and special place.

A special thank you to our amazing team. Events like this are never a one-person effort, and we're fortunate to work alongside people who always step up, work hard, and help make everything come together smoothly.

Now it's time for a little rest, a little cleanup, and perhaps a little extra coffee.

A long day, a lot of smiles, and many happy memories.

Not a bad way to spend a day in the woods.

Happy Father's Day to the men who taught us life's most important lessons:

• Thermostats are sacred.
• You can absolutely fix that with duct tape.
• Turning around in the driveway is easier than asking for directions.
• Standing in front of the grill automatically makes you an expert.

This Sunday, let Dad take a break from supervising the lawn and arguing with the weather forecast.

Bring him to brunch instead.

Because the only thing better than Dad jokes is not having Dad do the dishes afterward.

Current Rosewood Status Report:

Stan: In the kitchen.

Coffee: Working overtime.

Pots and pans: Everywhere.

Prep list: Under control.

Stress level: Surprisingly low.

Confidence level: Extremely high.

As many of you know, we won't be hosting Sunday Brunch this weekend as we're helping with a special event.

The good news is that everything is coming together beautifully.

The bad news is that if you need Stan this week, you'll probably have to check the kitchen first.

We'll miss seeing everyone this Sunday, but we'll be back next week.

Until then, wish Stan luck as he continues his quest to turn an impressive amount of ingredients into an equally impressive weekend.

Some weekends aren't meant to be rushed.

They're meant for scenic drives, mountain views, quiet mornings, ice cream by the lake, discovering hidden gems, and ending the day under a New Hampshire sunset.

That's what we love most about Bradford and the Lake Sunapee region.

Whether you're hiking a trail, exploring local history, enjoying a lakeside stroll, or simply relaxing on the porch with a cup of coffee, we hope you'll take time to slow down and enjoy everything that makes this corner of New Hampshire so special.

This graduation season is especially meaningful to us.

This year, three members of our team are reaching an important milestone and graduating.

Working alongside young people as they grow, learn, and achieve their goals has been one of the unexpected joys of what we do. We've watched them take on new challenges, gain confidence, and accomplish great things along the way.

Graduation represents dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of hard work, and we couldn't be prouder of what these three young adults have achieved.

To all the parents celebrating a graduation today...

Take a moment and look around.

Look at the young adults in their caps and gowns. Look at the families gathered together. Look at the smiles, the tears, the hugs, and the photographs that will be treasured for years to come.

For a brief moment, time seems to stand still.

It feels like yesterday they were taking their first steps, carrying backpacks bigger than they were, asking endless questions, and dreaming about what they would become someday.

And then one day, someday arrives.

Today is not only a celebration of a diploma. It is a celebration of years of love, encouragement, sacrifices, lessons, laughter, worries, and hopes.
