WOW! How do you put into words your first full weekend of running a campground?! My father-in-law often reminds us that we are blessed and highly favored and this weekend was evident of that. We can’t thank Phil, Coni, and the girls enough for their guidance and assistance. We are beyond grateful for all who came out to celebrate such a special weekend at the campground. The campers were so kind, understanding, patient, and welcoming. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Meet the Wallaces!

Derek and Brittany are high school sweethearts who have been married for 13 years. They grew up in lake country, shortly after marrying, Derek’s job moved them to the La Crosse area where they have lived the past 12 years. Although they have loved their community, they are excited to be back in “home country.”

The three kids are excited to be closer to their cousins, have new opportunities, and meet new friends!

Don’t worry! Phil, Coni, and the girls will continue to be around to teach Brittany and Derek all there is to know about running a fun, safe, and exceptional campground experience.

The boys and I made it back to the driftless area after an exciting weekend at the campground, meeting our seasonals, and opening for our first guests! We could not be more thrilled to start this new adventure with you all!

A big thank you to Coni, Phil, Amanda, and Rachel for all your help in the transition process and teaching us the ropes!

Derek, I, and our kids look forward to meeting more of you and helping you create summer memories.

Good Evening!
Just an update. We have reinstated everyone who contacted us. Thank you to everyone for your patience and kindness as we get through this chaos! I know there are lots of folks wondering if we will be taking daily campers, and the answer is YES!! We do have space, still, during most week days for folks who would like to go camping. Thanks again to all the people who have been so so kind to us during all of this. It certainly was NOT something that was planned - Good Grief! Who plans to cancel 3000 reservations? Not me!! At any rate, we are grateful to everyone who have been so good to us through all of this. You made our hearts sing❤️ Thank you!

Well, nothing like the apple cart being upset again! LOL! We will do our best to get you back in if you had a reservation. Site assignment may/may not be the same because some of them went seasonal, but we will do our best! Thank you to everyone that has already called to reinstate. We are so so grateful!! I will be busy reinstating people until Wednesday. If you didn't have a reservation with us this year, please call me Wednesday to see what we can do:)!
