Congratulations to the Brainerd High School Boys Golf Team on qualifying for the State Tournament as a team for the first time in school history! ⛳🏆
This accomplishment means even more to us because so many of these players are part of the Legacy family. They practice here, many are members, some work alongside us on the course, and they are led by our Head Golf Professional, Tim Johnson, along with assistant coach and Legacy member, Tyson Genz.
A few season highlights:
• Ranked #1 in the State as a team
• Won Section 8AAA for the first time in program history
• Set the school team scoring record at 8 under par—twice, both at the Legacy
• Set the school individual scoring record at 65, 6 under par, by Brady Oseland and Drew Christensen—both at the Legacy
• Practiced on our range and simulators, hosted two home meets, and helped care for the course by filling divots, fixing ball marks, and raking traps across 23 of 45 holes
• Donated their time to meal prep through the Outreach Program
