A little behind-the-scenes of what we’ve been working on… 🌲🏡
We’ve been on quite the journey to get conditional use (short term rental) permits through the county and let’s just say, they don’t exactly hand those out. 😂
We have almost 40 acres in Branson West, where we have our home and Hideaway in the Treetops, our 2-bedroom, 2-bath short-term rental.
After seeing how well Hideaway has done (and The Summer House in the summer!), we decided to see if we could build more.
First up were the lot splits. County requirements call for 3+ acres per house, so we applied to split our property and thankfully, it was approved! 🎉
Next came the short-term rental permits. With the support of our amazing neighbors, we were approved for the nightly rental permits! 🙌
Now we're officially moving forward. Our draftsman is already working on plans for our next build, and we’ll tackle these homes one at a time.
It’s exciting to see this little corner of the Ozarks slowly becoming something even bigger.
One step, one house, and one cedar at a time. 🌲
