Each site includes: Heating/AC, mini microwave and fridge, one plush queen-size bed, and a restroom (includes a shower, sink, and toilet) located just outside of the tent. The Springfield Astronomical Society is excited to partner with Ozark Mountain Adventure for a FREE Star Party this Friday June 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM in Branson!

Join us for an evening under the stars as we explore the night sky through telescopes and share the wonders of astronomy with visitors and locals alike. Whether you're a seasoned observer or have never looked through a telescope before, everyone is welcome!

📻 Tomorrow morning, SAS members Lane and Matt will be joining Halley from Ozark Mountain Adventures on 100.1 FM to talk about the event, astronomy, and what guests can expect during this special night under the stars.

🌧️ With the Ozarks experiencing a pretty wet spring lately, we've also included a rain date of June 13th just in case Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. We'll keep everyone updated as we get closer to the event.

Bring your curiosity, bring your family, bring a telescope if you have one, and come experience the universe with us!
