Let's talk food in Branson.
-Many of the restaurants close early, think 7-8pm, so check times before you go. It can be tricky if you have a late show and plan to eat after.
-If you are going to a dinner show like Dixie Stampede or the Branson Belle Show boat, remember they are making the same meal for guests of all ages, including some who have traded in their original teeth for a removable set so the food is prepared in a way for them to enjoy it, too. :) Just set the expectation accordingly, and you will still have a good meal, large portions, and great entertainment. We recommend Dixie Stampede for families with young kids and the Show boat for people of all ages.
-If you are staying at the condo near the Branson Landing, there are a ton of great options less than 10 minutes away. We personally love Bricktown Brewery and Black Oak Grill at the Landing, but there are many others we have yet to try :)
-The owners of Cheeky Monkey Bar and Grill as well as Crazy Craig's Treehouse grew up in Fall City, Nebraska and just won Branson's 2024 small business of the year award. The reviews for both locations would agree this is a great place to visit!
-El Lago. Our favorite Mexican restaurant has a location near both the condo and the lodge.
-India Clay Oven. We are big fans of Indian food and this place did not disappoint. It's located right along the main strip
-Osage. If you are looking for a fancy dinner option, I'm sure there are many great options in Branson, but I don't think any can beat the view at Osage restaurant at Top of the Rock. The food was amazing, too.
-Ozark Coffee Company. Located right across the street from the Stonebridge village Welcome Center. Dustin and I stopped for a treat on our anniversary this year. If you like drinks on the sweeter side, get the coconut salted caramel blended drink, you will not regret it.
-The lodge is located in a gated community and there is a restaurant at the golf course called the Ledgestone Grille. It offers breakfast and lunch daily and a changing nightly menu certain days of the week. They often have Karaoke on Wednesdays and Live music on Friday nights. Also, if you go to the club house pool, you can order drinks and snacks right from the walk up window during the summer months.
-Pickin Porch Grill. There are lots of options for BBQ in Branson, but this one is about the experience. It's located inside a craft mall and offers a schedule of events including live music.
-Pizza. Would it be a family vacation without a night of pizza? :) We will often make it ourselves at the condo or lodge, but if we are grabbing it from a restaurant there are options close to the lodge like Ozark Mountain pizza and Pizza by the Chef. Near the condo there are options like Mellow Mushroom and Pizza by the Slice.
-The Keeter Center Dining at College of the Ozarks is a great stop for a unique farm to table dining experience.
