Taking a look around the Nation for the upcoming snow and arctic cold from the WPC Weather Prediction Center.
In addition to the significant snow and ice forecast for the Southern Plains, bitterly cold temperatures through next week will allow accumulations to linger for days. Highs Monday in the single digits and teens across much of Oklahoma and Texas are up to 50 degrees below normal.
