The other day, a guest gave us one of the best compliments we could receive.
This guest had never stayed with us before and found us through a third-party website. During our conversation, they shared that what makes us stand out isn’t only our clean rooms or friendly service—it’s the way we treat our employees.
Throughout their stay, they noticed the jokes, laughter, smiles and genuine interactions between everyone. They said our team’s personalities shine through and that you can tell they truly enjoy their jobs.
I told the guest, “I certainly hope that is what people see, because our staff isn’t here just to collect a paycheck. They’re here to provide genuine hospitality—and that comes naturally when people are happy, appreciated and treated like family.”
Our guests may check in as strangers, but they quickly become part of our motel family. Our employees aren’t simply staff—they’re part of that family, too.
For those of you who have stayed with us, do you see and feel that same difference?
