An important reminder!

Make sure you’re on a hotel’s official website when booking your next hotel stay. Just because a page shows the hotel's name and photos doesn’t mean you’re booking directly with them. Even the first result in a search may be a third-party advertisement.

We have had guests who think they are booking directly with us when in reality is is a Priceline-affiliated site which adds extra fees and provides inferior customer service.

In fact, this shady practice is finally getting the attention of the FTC, which is investigating, and potentially issuing fines up to $500 million. YAY FTC!

Good food, good company, and one BIG rocking chair!😄

I took Phil and Sue to Pickin Porch Grill inside the Branson Craft Mall for lunch today. It’s one of my favorite burger spots in town, and my Anaheim burger was delicious as always! Sue enjoyed the carne asada tacos, and Phil loved the chicken strips with the fried roll.

Of course, we had to stop for a rocking chair photo before leaving!
