1969-2025 Gardner Family-Park Meadows 6B, Breckenridge, CO October 2025. After 56 years, since 1969, the time has come for our family’s ol’ Breck Ski Condo (PM6B), to transfer into the arms of a new family.

As we continue to celebrate , we're taking a look at Breckenridge around 1876. As the silver boom began in Leadville, many Breckenridge residents were doing double duty. For example, George Washburn headed for Leadville in 1877. There he prospected and located the Scooper Mine. By 1881, he was back in Breckenridge as president of the Bank of Breckenridge! He was also a member of the Rexford Mining Company which owned claims on the Rochester King and Rochester Queen in the north fork of the Swan River.

On Sunday afternoon, the storm finally cleared. While driving through downtown Frisco, Colorado, we decided to stop for a quick break at the historic park. As I walked over to the old cabins, I captured this 360° photo. This turned out to be the perfect spot to stop and take a nice break.
