With summer at an end, the resort team at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 is shifting its focus to fall maintenance, upcoming projects, and preparations for ski season.

One of the major upgrades coming this fall will be to the property's Wi-Fi network to provide a faster, more reliable connection.

Greetings from Breckenridge! The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 enjoyed a busy summer, with occupancy returning to the levels seen before last winter. Now, the resort team is shifting its focus to fall maintenance, upcoming projects, and preparations for another ski season.

Fall showed up early this year, and the foliage is already spectacular! If you are planning to come see the leaves, now is the time!

Looking for a trail to enjoy? We recommend the B&B to Reiling Dredge to Mini Mine loop! It is an easy 2.6 mile hike, with some minimal elevation gain about halfway along the route, but the climb is worth it! The trail treats you to amazing views of Breckenridge Mountain, with historical ruins dotting the trail and lots of lovely aspen groves.

Parking is extremely limited at the trailhead, so we recommend catching the Purple A bus to French Gulch, which is only a 12 minute walk from the trailhead.

There are about 5 other trails in the area that interconnect, so we recommend having a trail map handy.

It feels like fall took us by surprise this year at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. The temperatures keep dropping, and the leaves are already turning crimson! With several upcoming events around Summit County, this coming week is the perfect time to pay us a visit!
