🎺🐾 The Brenham Cub Band is taking to the streets! 💚🤍

On Friday, August 7, the Cub Band will once again celebrate the start of the school year with a beloved community tradition—marching across Brenham!

The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, where the band will perform a short concert before heading downtown to march the traditional parade route. From there, the Cub Band will make several special stops throughout the community:

🎶 Downtown Courthouse
🏦 The new Citizens National Bank site
🏫 Alton Elementary
💚 Brenham ISD Central Office
🎶 Brenham Junior High
🍦 Blue Bell Creameries

We invite the community to come out, line the route and cheer on our talented Cub Band students as they make their way across town! 👏🎺

This special day also serves as an important fundraising opportunity for the band. Those interested in making a donation to support the Cub Band may contact Eric Rettig at [email protected].

The Cub Band is already hard at work preparing for an exciting fall season and its upcoming contest production, The Mysteries of Stonehenge! 🗿🎶 They cannot wait to entertain our amazing Cub fans throughout the year!

July is National Ice Cream Month and Brenham is celebrating big in the Ice Cream Capital of Texas!

🍨 Besides the normal places to get a scoop of ice cream, we’ll be serving FREE Blue Bell during Summer Showcase in Alamo Alley from 5:00-6:30 on Saturday (before Hot Nights, Cool Tunes).

🍨 Blue Bell Ice Cream will be serving FREE scoops during Hot Nights, Cool Tunes Downtown Brenham on Saturday evening in honor of National Ice Cream Day.

🍨 Blue Bell’s Ice Cream Parlor will be open on Sunday, July 19 for National Ice Cream Day, 12-3pm.
