HOLE 13: TRUST YOUR SHOT

Hello everyone, I’m Celine McArthur here at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa, continuing our series with Assistant Golf Professional Braxton Brown to show you what makes each hole on the Mount Washington Course unique and worth playing.

Hole 13 is a shorter par 4 with a blind, uphill approach and deep bunkers hiding to the right. Braxton rates it a 7 on the Braxton Scale of Difficulty.

His advice? Favor the left, trust your shot and don't go long. The payoff? A stunning mountain view.

Hi, I’m Céline McArthur, and we’re continuing our hole-by-hole look at the Mount Washington Course at Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa.

Hole 12 is a short Par 4, and Braxton Brown rates it just a 2 or 3 out of 10. But the elevation change creates a blind shot that can make this hole look a little more complicated than it really is.

Braxton shows us how to position your tee shot and why the middle of the green is the smart target.

Sometimes the best strategy is simply not making the hole harder than it needs to be.

After the long climb on Hole 10, Hole 11 takes you downhill.

Braxton Brown rates it a 5 out of 10, and this Par 5 gives you a little more room to work with.

There are still bunkers to navigate, but the downhill slope can help you pick up some distance.

Braxton breaks down when to be aggressive and when to play it safe.

Hole 10 starts the back nine with a change in elevation and a long uphill Par 5. Braxton Brown rates it a 7 out of 10, and that uphill climb can make this hole play longer than you might expect.

Braxton shows us how he approaches the bunkers off the tee and why positioning matters before you make that second shot.
