Grampa Steve and Basil had a great afternoon playing in the yard yesterday. He was on the phone with an old friend she was chasing bees and flys, and whatever else she could find that looked interesting. Then she sat with him while he played his banjo and enjoyed the beautiful Brewster sunshine.

This is a picture looking across to Crows Pasture in Dennis, where you can see the Oyster farmers out getting their traps ready for spring. What a difference a day makes!!!!!!!

Yesterday was over 50°, sunny and beautiful; today it is 30°, snowing over a foot last I was out, and absolutely miserable. These pictures/video show Paines Creek yesterday and today in relatively the same spot at almost the same time of day.

Good news for those of you who want to visit in August!!!! I just had a cancelation and now have the week of Aug 3rd thru the 10th available!!!!!!!!! Each room sleeps up to 4 people at very reasonable in season rates.

Have you ever seen the beach covered in snow? I haven't yet this year... The "bad" winter storm we had yesterday left us with less than a half inch of snow today in Brewster, and as you can see, almost nothing here at Skaket Beac; but that's OK because it's still gorgeous and has free parking!
