Just recently we took a trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was devastating to learn that since then the campgrounds and historic lodge directly next to it were lost to a forest fire! It just shows how we are all subject to mother nature and her forces. We are sad to say the least that the beautiful area was burnt, but hopefully new growth will find its way back to the North Rim.

Down in St. George we love a good flower blossom before some intense heat. Spring time in Southern Utah is one of the most enjoyable times because it's not too hot and not too cold.

In December the shuttles at Zions don't run, so cars are allowed to drive up the canyon all on their own. It's definitely an interesting experience compared to the shuttles. Today we took a scenic drive up to The Riverside Walk where we enjoyed the beautiful views.
