BFEF welcomes back Robert Reed from So Cal to the One & Only BFEF Tagged Trophy Trout Club. Today, he landed this funtastic 5lb 12oz BFEF TTT while fishing at Upper Twin Lake/Mono Village. He got it verified at Ken's and collected both his bragging rights picture and another opportunity to win $750.00 during a BFEF June Trout Tournament, scheduled for June 27th this year. 😁🎣🐟👍

Catches from Upper Twin!
The rainbow bite is solid and improving with warming water temps, while kokanee are starting to show more consistently ,but are still somewhat scattered.
Rainbows are being caught both trolling and from shore.
Best action has been: Near the inlet and deeper drop-offs
Trolling Rapalas, Kastmasters,Thomas Buoyants, and Panther Martins
Bait anglers doing well with PowerBait, Mice Tails, nightcrawlers, and pinched crawlers
Kokanee are becoming more active, most are currently being found suspended roughly 20–60 feet

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the two concert dates of July 17th & 18th, 2026 have been canceled as the commitment previously made to us was not upheld. We are actively working to locate a replacement band, and will update here. Friday night BBQ dates of July 3rd, July 10th, July 17th and July 24th will be held as previously scheduled. Monoritaville will be serving at the BBQs as well.
