And just like that, the 2026 camping season has come to an end…

It’s hard to believe we’re already saying goodbye to another season. As your Events Coordinator, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

This season was about so much more than events on a calendar. It was about the smiles, the laughter, the friendships, the memories made around the campground, and all those little moments that make this place feel like one big family. From the fun and craziness of our events to the simple moments spent together, you all helped make this season truly special.

Getting to be a part of your summers, seeing everyone come together, and watching friendships grow is one of the best parts of what I get to do. You may come here as campers, but you leave a little piece of yourself behind and take a little piece of this place with you.

Thank you for showing up, joining in the fun, supporting our events, making memories with me, and making all the hard work worth it. Whether you were here every weekend or only got to visit a few times, please know that you were part of what made this season so special.

As we close out 2026, I hope you head home with full hearts, wonderful memories, new friendships, and plenty of stories to tell until we meet again.

And of course, we can’t forget the campground chaos, the laughs, and all the unforgettable moments along the way!

Thank you for making this season one I’ll always remember. This isn’t goodbye… it’s see you next season! Until then stay wild, stay wonderful and keep that campground spirit alive!

THE HARDEST WEEKEND OF THE YEAR IS HERE…

This weekend, we’ll gather around the campfires one more time.
We’ll take one more evening ride around the campground.
One more morning coffee with the neighbors.
One more sunset.
One more weekend of hearing laughter echo through the campground.

And then… we’ll say goodbye.

The 2026 camping season is coming to an end, and honestly, we’re not ready.

Because it’s never just a camping season.

It’s the friendships that were made.
The traditions that continued.
The kids who grew a little taller.
The memories made around a fire.
The spontaneous visits.
The long weekends that somehow never feel long enough.
The people who started as neighbors and became family.

And before we know it, the campground will be quiet.

The golf carts will be parked.
The campfires will go out.
The seasonal sites will sit empty.
And we’ll all be counting down the days until we can do it all again.

So if you're here this weekend, soak it all in. Stay up a little later. Take that extra walk. Sit around the fire a little longer. Hug your camping friends a little tighter.

Because these are the moments we wish we could keep forever.

But maybe saying goodbye to 2026 doesn't have to mean waiting until next summer to come home…

A HUGE thank you to all our campers who came out and made Halloween weekend absolutely CRAZY!

From the 🎭 Costume Contest and 🍬 Trick-or-Treating to the 🎃 Site Decorating and 🚗💀 Golf Cart Decorating contests… you guys REALLY understood the assignment! 😂

Thank you for bringing the creativity, the costumes, the candy, and just the right amount of campground chaos!

🍂❤️ ONE LAST WEEKEND TOGETHER, CAMPERS ❤️🍂

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final weekend of the 2026 camping season. What started as another summer of camping, events, laughter, and memories has turned into another year filled with moments we’ll be talking about long after the campers are gone and the leaves have fallen.

So before we close the gates for the season, let’s spend one more weekend together. ❤️

🎲 FRIDAY NIGHT 7:30PM – Campers Choose Game Night
You pick the game, we’ll bring the fun! Come spend one more Friday night laughing, playing, and enjoying time with your campground family.

🦃 SATURDAY – FRIENDSGIVING POTLUCK | 4:00 PM
Let’s gather around the table one more time! Bring a favorite dish to share and join us for our final campground feast of the season.

📣 FINAL COMMUNITY MEETING | 6:00 PM
After Friendsgiving, we’ll gather for our final community meeting of 2026. One last chance to come together, share, listen, and officially close out another season.

The campers may leave, the sites may get quiet, and winter will eventually settle in… but the memories we made here stay with us.

Thank you for another incredible season, Quinebaug Cove family. We hope you’ll join us for one last weekend of laughter, friendship, good food, and memories before we say goodbye until next season.
