Anthony and Stephen kicked off September the right way with a trip to the South Holston River Lodge!
Guide Andrew Bright found the right fly, and the brown trout were more than happy to cooperate. These guys had an incredible day on the river, with some beautiful fish to show for it!

Jake and David came into their guided trip with Brandon Barbour ready to chase streamers, and Brandon’s dedication to streamer fishing this year is clearly paying off!

The result? An absolutely epic day on the water, including a 28-inch brown and a striper, all in one trip!

These guys made a killer team, and the proof is right here in the photos. Days like this are what streamer fishing is all about!

Wow, another incredible day on the river with John M. and guide John Stunkard! Their efforts led to some truly amazing results. John has fished with the lodge numerous times, but this most recent trip was something special—two 28-inch brown trout on two different days!

We are incredibly fortunate to have access to such an amazing river and resource. Congratulations, guys, and way to go! What an unforgettable couple of days!

The high water was good to Mike and guide Braydon Wilhoit yesterday! The big browns were looking for a streamer, and Mike delivered with a well-presented fly that produced this absolute tank of a brown. Did we mention this was Mike’s first time ever fishing streamers?!

Phil and Guide Andrew Bright had an exciting day on the South Holston while the river was generating, and the trout were loving the increased flow! The fish were active and feeding.

It looks like the South Holston will continue releasing for the majority of the week, creating some great opportunities for anglers looking to get out and chase trout. See you soon!

Kathy and Dudley had an incredible time chasing smallmouth with guide Andrew Bright. If you’ve never experienced the fight of a smallmouth bass, you’re seriously missing out! These fish are strong, aggressive, and an absolute blast to catch.

Way to go, Kathy and Dudley! Those are some great-looking fish
