hit the ice Friday evening after work and still had around 7”, ice looked to be about 5” white and 2” of clear. There wasn’t any soft spots that I noticed but very slick and needed creepers. I ended up checking a few other lakes over the weekend and everything seem to be the same with soft shore lines for a few feet then good solid ice.

We have plenty of snow if you’re a snowmobiler and plenty of ice if you like to ice fish.

It’s already mid July and before you know it the Lake Michigan Chinook Salmon will be making their way up river to spawn. The month of September is when the majority of the fish make their journey and the best opportunity to catch them.

We offer lodging and a fish cleaning area with ample freezer space if you’re looking to fish on your own or we do offer half day trips on the river if you would like to fish from the comfort of a boat.
