A brief rainstorm in the middle of Hochatown but feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. We love this cabin.

We enjoyed a few days in Hochatown while doing a few things to the cabin. We always take a drive through Beavers Bend State Park as it's a beautiful drive in every season. While my husband did a business zoom meeting, I hiked the The Friends Trail which is an easy hike along the Mountain Fork river. I did this hike mid-morning which was perfect so I could still walk in the shade. While at the park, I went through the Forest Heritage Center. This center shows the history of Hochatown and the Broken Bow Lake. Hochatown Saloon is currently our favorite place to eat.
