Coming Spring 2027 – Rowdy Eagle Float Park on the Lower Mountain Fork River!🌊☀️👙🛶🎣🏖️🏄‍♂️🌭🍉🦅

The Simpson family (Milt, Kisha, Kenzi, Shaylee, and Aidan) along with Dusty and Liddy Jarvis are excited to bring the Rowdy Eagle Float Park to Eagletown, Oklahoma.

For the past six months, Milt and Dusty have been working long days on roads and infrastructure, and were finally breaking ground on The Rowdy Eagle!

This cattle ranch has been in the Simpson family for more than 20 years, and our goal is simple: create a destination that locals and visitors can enjoy for years to come. If you’re a local you know the weekends will be crazy so y’all come hang out with us during the week!

Expect tubes, food, music, cold drinks, shade, merch, and lots of fun!

Milt, a proud 1993 graduate of Eagletown High School, has always wanted to be a small part of putting Eagletown on the map while creating a family business and a fun place to work! He’s always been an Eagle at heart!

Most importantly, we are committed to being good stewards of the Lower Mountain Fork River. We believe in leaving it better than we found it, and we’ll even reward floaters with Rowdy Eagle merchandise for helping pick up trash along the river.

🚧 UPDATE: Traffic Light at South 259A is operational.

Traffic Alert for

Attention residents and visitors!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, contractors will be working on the traffic signals at the

📍US-259A South intersection/park entrance.

They will be taking down the existing traffic lights to switch over to the new mast arm signals that were installed last week.

🔹 What to Expect:
- Temporary stop signs will be in place
- Treat the intersection as a four-way stop

Please plan accordingly as the signals will be down long enough to switch them out.

🚧SPILLWAY MAINTENANCE
Tuesday, June 30, the US Army Corps of Engineers will be completing maintenance on the Broken Bow Lake Spillway. In order to safely complete these maintenance items both lanes of the State Highway 259-A spillway crossing will be temporarily closed from 7:30am – 4:00pm. In order to access Beavers Bend State Park during this time, please utilize the south entrance of State Highway 259-A. (Remember, temporary 4-way stop🛑)

Digital road closure notification signs will be set up and staff will be on site as available to assist visitors seeking to access the park during this time.

🚗 Drivers, please:
- Slow down
- Expect some delays
- Use caution in the area
