The Chico Elks Lodge #423 RV Group came to stay with us again this summer and ... boy, do they know how to have fun! They organized an action-packed visit filled with lots of good food, creative ocean-themed table decorations, fishing, tours of the local area, and even a boat race in our games field.

At AtRivers Edge RV Resort all of our guests are VIPs, but we were lucky enough to meet a former San Francisco 49er in the Chico Elks RV Group. One of their awesome grillmasters, who was making the flames dance on our grill, just so happens to be Jeff Stover ( #72), a 2x Super BowlChampion defensive lineman who played on the winning 49ers teams at Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XXIII. Yes, we admit to having a few football fans on our ARE team who were VERY excited to meet him. 😀 🏈

Best of all, everyone seemed to have a great time at our special spot along the beautiful Chetco River.

🇺🇸Happy 4th of July from all of us at AtRivers Edge RV Resort! 🇺🇸

There’s nothing like enjoying a good old-fashioned BBQ of grilled hamburgers and hotdogs while relaxing and listening to some fun live music to make it really feel like summer. Our team will be grilling and chilling today! 😎

We have a no fireworks policy at our resort to keep it calm for all of our guests and pet friends but our guests can enjoy going to watch the fireworks display over the ocean just 5 minutes away at the Port of Brookings-Harbor.

Making last-minute plans for Memorial Weekend at the beach?

Brookings on the Southern Oregon Coast is the place to be this weekend since our town is hosting our 86th Annual Azalea Parade & Festival which means that there will be lots of fun events going on every day this weekend. A few of our guests have brought their special vehicles to show in the Azalea Festival Car Show this weekend like this cute vintage VW van with a retro mint green paint job. There is so much to see and do this weekend in Brookings!
