Hello Legends, we have received countless tags, messages, in person asks, and phone calls over the last few days, so we figured we should do a quick Q&A to answer the most asked questions we've recieved this week to provide some transparency:
Q: Is it you trying to open the new bounce facility?
A: No.
Q: Do you know the person trying to open this?
A: Yes. Legends has been contacted 3x by different people regarding different projects over the last 2 years. All attempting to open a larger facility in the Old Skating Rink. The person attempting to open this newest facility is part owner and current property manager of that property. He spoke with us over the phone and flew in to inspect the property this weekend and we met with him while he was in town.
Q: Why aren't you opening your expansion in that location?
A: Although we have talked with the property mangement team several times over the last few years, we have never been able to come to an agreement.
Q: Are you going to be placing your games over there?
A: Not at this time. An agreement was not able to be reached.
Q: Does this mean you might have to close down?
A: No. (At least we don't plan to). Legends plans to continue to operate with the same values of Integrity, Transparency, Safety Mindedness, and Trustworthiness you've come to love and support. As locals we've been watching your kids grow up over these last few years, and we hope to be around to watch their kids grow up someday too!
Q: Is this going to stop your expansion plans?
A: No. Here at Legends we bootstrapped our way to where we are now. No outside investors making decisions for us, no major corporation bureaucracy. Just 2 locals, their friends, and a lot of grit, blood, and tears (lots of crying...not going to lie) making a dream become a reality. Because we keep investment local and prioritize the safety of your children and our staff, it takes us longer to make big moves because when we do, we want to make sure it provides something of value to you...our local family and friends.
Now, this is not meant in anyway to disparage the attempts of starting larger projects for our local youth. Our town desperately needs it. We obviously think more positive youth focused activities are a good thing, which is why we opened in the first place, and why we are working on our own expansion.
If we've missed any of your questions, feel free to drop them below or send us a message. As always, we pride ourselves on transparency. ❤️
All the love from your favorite local legends,
Will, Ashley, Tony, Liam, and Ripley (woof!)
