Daring Girls - where female-identifying campers explore nature, build confidence, and discover power historical women, mythological goddesses and the heroine within.

From the outside our daring girls are tumbling, sword fighting, and building strange contraptions with wires and tubing (you know, girl stuff). But on the inside these budding heroines are learning to take risks, fail with grace, and never give up.

Summer 2022 is a wrap!!! This year, over 600 girls joined us for an incredible summer of discovery, storytelling, adventure, and (of course) DARING.

From meeting intriguing characters to fighting epic battles, our girls were inspired, engaged, challenged, and supported in ways that have taught them what it means to be a daring girl.

We wish all of our families a wonderful end of summer, and we cannot wait to see you next year.

The Demigods of Daring Girls are proud to announce that July is Lake Appreciation Month! Prospect Park is the home of Brooklyn's ONLY lake, so let's be heroes and make sure it's as healthy as can be.

On top of being defending the Park from weekly monster invasions, these demigods are also Prospect Park Alliance Champions, committed to protecting the plants and animals that make the park a truly magical place.

Interested in becoming a Champion yourself? Head to the PPA website and take the pledge. It's as easy as following the code below.
- Throw out your trash and leave no trace, so the wood-nymphs have a clean home.
- Stay on designated paths and trails, so you don't accidentally end up in the underworld.
- Keep your hellhounds and cerberus on-leash.
- Care for the live trees and plants by leaving them be. Dryads are counting on you!
- Protect wildlife. Even the demon-squirrels. They don't know any better, and they're possessed.
