Join us tomorrow night in The Gallery for the opening reception of Planets In Transit, an exhibition by photographer Guarionex Rodriguez Jr. — featuring a special DJ set by and Guarionex himself.

Featuring 10 photographs, Planets In Transit captures the liberatory pulse of New York nightlife tracing the sweat, intimacy and movement found across dancefloors from Papi Juice to Soul Summit. Through Guarionex’s lens, the city becomes a constellation of joy, memory and release.

On view through July 31 in The Gallery at Ace Hotel Brooklyn.

We're putting the finishing touches on a new season of Ace Hotel Brooklyn’s Artist in Residence (A!R) program — a living, breathing embodiment of our affinity for artists, whose ever-curious spirit and rebuke of complacency lend life to the places we call home.

Ahead of the launch, we're looking back in awe of the artists who called our hotels home. Stroll memory lane with us, won't you.

' "Phenomenology, Be Easy" is now extended in the Gallery through April 30.

An intimate exploration of grief and gratitude, holding what’s heavy alongside what sustains us. The exhibition invites you to slow down, soften and sit with what is — missing people, moments and versions of oneself, while remaining thankful to be here, still creating, still held by community.

The exhibition is a practice in presence: noticing experience as it unfolds, without fixing it or rushing past it. “Be Easy” moves throughout the work as both language and permission. To let grief and gratitude exist without shame.

Presented in partnership with Ace Hotel Brooklyn, "Phenomenology, Be Easy" welcomes those who know the weight and the lightness of holding two true things at once.

"Sensitive Lil’ Thang" by

An intimate two-day installation that transformed the Ace Suite into a space for reflection, vulnerability and release. The installation featured a new painting by Quiana Parks alongside a pair of speakers by Better Listening that functioned as both sculptural objects and sound sources. Projected collage and concept video work filled the room, creating a visual dialogue between image, sound and memory while examining how emotional experiences are stored and expressed.

On March 24, as part of a private invite-only reception, Quiana presented a live soundscape performance in conversation with Alex Tyree of Feel the Space. Together, they guided attendees through a shared moment of intention-setting and emotional release, using sound as a medium for reflection, healing and connection.
