Dear Family and Friends, after 30 years of owning and operating Spruce Mountain Lodge, we have recently sold off the business and assets, and now look forward to our next journey. We want to thank each and everyone of you for your loyalty and friendship. We have enjoyed every year like it was the first. Thank you for the many years of memories. Best Wishes, Steve and Brenda

Maine Wildlife Park is the only place in Maine where you are guaranteed to see a moose, but with some effort, plenty of patience and a little bit of luck, you can watch one in the wild too!

There are as many as 60,000 wild moose in Maine, more than any other state in the lower 48, so you've come to the right place!

In the summer months, moose go back and forth between water to feed, and surrounding shady woods to cool off and digest throughout the day. So check promising spots often! The moose at the Park has his favorite summer spots too.

Our ATV course calendar is brimming with opportunities across the state over the next 4 months.

Before getting some dirt on their tires, youth ages 10 to under 16 must be ATV safety certified, but adults are encouraged to take a course too. Whether you are managing a woodlot or roaming the trails, it pays to upgrade your offroad operation knowledge and skills.

Our in-person courses, taught by certified instructors, go beyond ATV safety skills, covering additional topics such as maintenance, laws, navigation, and ethics. Online courses are also offered for riders 12 and up. Several of the courses also cover snowmobile safety. Register today at mefishwildlife.com/safetycourses.
