It’s officially September, which means I can FINALLY share some VERY exciting news…

The Stitchery is getting a NEW HOME! 🥹🤍

And don’t worry — we’re staying right here in Brookville! 🏡

📍 NEW ADDRESS:
124 East 6th Street
Brookville, IN

After so much planning, dreaming, measuring, organizing (and probably a little too much overthinking 😂), I finally got to unlock the doors for the first time! Getting those keys in my hand was such a surreal moment because this space is something I’ve been SO excited about. 🤍 Our new shop is TWICE the size of our current space, which means more room for sewing, fabric & supplies, mannequins and displays, a bigger workroom, a better fitting area, and SO many possibilities for the future! This move is a BIG step for The Stitchery, and I cannot wait to show you what we’re creating! 🧵🤍

🗓️ FIRST DAY IN THE NEW SHOP:
Tuesday, September 15th! 🎉

We’ll still be at 700 Main Street through September 15th while we finish moving everything over. Since moving an entire sewing shop is… A LOT 😂, our hours next week will be a little different so I can make time to get everything moved and set up.

📦 A little behind-the-scenes look at what goes on at The Stitchery! 🧵

These packages are headed out the door and they have a little bit of everything inside — mailed-in alterations, custom garments, custom gowns, and other sewing projects! 👗✨

One of the things I love about what I do is that no two days look exactly the same.

One day I'm working on a bridal gown.

The next I'm creating a custom piece completely from scratch.

Then I'm working on an alteration that was mailed in from somewhere else.

And somehow, there's always another project waiting for me. 😂🧵

And yes — we accept mail-in orders! 📬

So if you're not local to Brookville but have an alteration, custom garment, gown, or other sewing project you've been wanting to have done, don't be afraid to reach out!

You don't necessarily have to live down the road to work with The Stitchery. 🩵
