🤝 For generations, one group has quietly stood at the front gates, welcoming thousands of families to one of Brookville’s greatest traditions.
Today, we want to recognize and thank the Brookville Masonic Lodge #596 for their unwavering dedication to the Brookville Community Picnic.
For decades, the members of Brookville Masonic Lodge #596 have faithfully volunteered their time to staff our entry gates. Rain or shine, year after year, they are often among the very first smiling faces you’ll see as you enter the Picnic. Their commitment, professionalism, and willingness to serve have become as much a part of the Brookville Community Picnic as the traditions we all know and love.
What many people don’t realize is that this isn’t simply volunteering for a weekend. It’s a commitment that has been passed from one generation of Masons to the next. Countless members have devoted their time over the years, carrying on a tradition of service that reflects the values of Freemasonry: brotherhood, charity, integrity, and community.
The Brookville Masonic Lodge has been a pillar of our community since 1907, and their support extends far beyond the Picnic. Through service projects, charitable efforts, scholarships, and volunteerism, they continue to make Brookville a better place to live.
As we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Brookville Community Picnic, we’re honored to celebrate the organizations that have helped build this tradition alongside us. The Brookville Masonic Lodge #596 is certainly one of those organizations.
To every Mason who has stood a gate, welcomed a visitor, volunteered their time, or supported the Picnic over the years…
