At our Morgan City location, a Launch and Recovery System (LARS) is coming back in for inspection. Offshore, LARS units are critical — they’re used to safely deploy and recover subsea equipment such as ROVs, tools, and diving systems in some of the toughest environments.

When these systems return from service, our team gets to work — breaking them down, inspecting every component, and ensuring they’re ready for the next deployment. Chain Hoist Maintenance | Cleaning and Refreshing the Load Chain Before Paint

Before a chain hoist goes back into service — or gets a fresh coat of paint on the body and hook — the chain itself needs attention. In this video, our team gives the hoist load chain a proper cleaning and refresh using Moly l**e, removing dirt, grime, and buildup to make sure it’s ready for reliable performance.
