The Pinelands Center is a camp & retreat center which lies on nearly 150 acres of forest in the coastal plains of southern New Jersey.
Welcoming all organizations, schools, churches, families, groups and Individuals who wish to camp, retreat or use our conference facilities. Our facility has heated cabins with bathrooms, auditorium, dining hall and capacity for 175 guests. We also have summer camp for kids ages 6-17 in July and August.

Today, BUMC Youth of Bridgewater United Methodist Church are serving at The Maker's Place of Trenton, one of the Hope Centers of United Methodists of Greater New Jersey.
They are handing out diapers & wipes, playing with children in the community and helping to prep goods for the next distribution day.
This has been a highlight of their mission retreat so far!

This weekend program is specifically crafted for youth workers and is designed to provide a space for adults who are committed to serving youth in their churches and local communities. Together we will hold space to worship, process our ministries, enjoy community and enjoy some much-needed renewal through outdoor experiences at The Pinelands Center.

Huge THANK YOU to the youth & leaders from First United Methodist Church of Toms River & Waretown United Methodist Church for spending a day of their UMArmy mission serving at The Pinelands Center!
They did an amazing job clearing out spaces surrounding our dining hall and also enjoyed some camp activities (swimming, boating & worshipping in the Green Cathedral).
We are so thankful and can’t wait to see you again!

Pinelands Center at Mt Misery is a camp & retreat center of the United Methodist Church of Greater New Jersey, lies on nearly 150 acres of forest in the coastal plains of southern, New Jersey. Nestled in the middle of the historic National Pinelands Reserve, Pinelands Center is surrounded on most sides by cranberry bogs and preserved forestland, including miles of trails in Brendan T. Byrne State Park.
We are blessed to play in and learn from Mt Misery Lake, a stream and spring-fed lake and wetland filled with the famously rare plants and animals of the Pine Barrens. Located directly off Route 70, an hour from Philadelphia and less than an hour from the Shore, Pinelands Center is a place set apart—but not too far apart!—by God.
YEAR ROUND FACILITIES
Pinelands Center is equipped with 7 residential cabins. Including heat, hot water, electricity, indoor plumbing and bunks to sleep 14-24 people.
MEETING FACILITIES
Pinelands Center has a series of meeting facilities that can be set up for:
• 15-25 people in a conference style setting
• 10-15 people in 4 meeting rooms settings
• 80-150 people number in a large meeting room designed for worship or presentations
• A dining hall and food service staff eager to meet your needs
