🌿 Late May–Early June: Lower elevations and river valleys
🌿 Early–Mid June: Mid elevations (3,000–5,000 ft)
🌿 Mid–Late June: High elevations and mountain balds

You’ll spot vibrant purple Catawba rhododendron lighting up the ridgelines and delicate white and pale pink Rosebay rhododendron lining shaded trails.

Pro tip: The first three weeks of June are usually peak viewing somewhere in the Bryson City area — just head uphill if you miss them down low!
