What makes Mingo Falls one of our favorites? It is one of the tallest in the Southern Appalachian region at 120 majestic feet, located near Cherokee, NC. The trail to the falls originates with 160 steps on a maintained stairway. The trail is 0.4 mi long and leads to a viewing platform.
