If someone in your party has mobility issues and your looking for beautiful views and a waterfall this is a day trip for you. The Cherohala Skyway has 15 overlooks, the highest being at 5390 elevation. At the end you will be impressed by a 90 ft roadside waterfall, Bald River Falls. If you have the time dont miss Maple Springs observation deck. Another waterfall that is only 30 min from the house. Cover Falls is located in Andrews. Moderate hike and totally worth it. If your GPS tells you it is on a different road than Cover Fall Rd, it is wrong(mine took us to Bob Branch, one road before)
