The gray feral cat seen at Black Rock Park June 6-7 has tested positive for rabies. We have reports that the cat may have scratched or bitten a few guests. If you or a member of your party had contact with the cat, we encourage you to seek medical attention to determine if you should take any additional action.

A gray feral cat scratched and bit at least one guest at Black Rock Park Sunday morning. The cat has been removed and is being tested for rabies. We expect the test results late this week or early next week and will share them as soon as we hear from the lab.
