This beautiful, completely authentic, hand made log cabin is carefully blended with modern comforts and traditional homesteader style furnishings complete with loft and screened in porch. The main room features indirect lighting, a rock fireplace with wood burning insert, antiques and an entertainment center made from old barn wood. Sleeping comfort is assured as you stretch out in the red cedar

log queen size bed covered by a patchwork quilt. Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious bathroom with a cast iron green colored slipper tub with brass fixtures. The sink is built into an antique dresser. For those more traditional an outhouse is provided with flushable toilet and sink. There is also an outdoor shower. Along with the antique cabinets of the kitchen is an 1860"s reproduction of a wood cook stove which in reality is a modern electric appliance. The kitchen comes complete with a harvest table with plenty of room for up to six. Privacy is the really outstanding feature here at Paradise Lake. As the only cabin on a five acre lake, you'll enjoy fishing, swimming or just "doing nothig" without bumping elbows with others. Bass, bluegill and catfish are waiting for you to give them a fight. Two paddle boats and a floating dock are provided for your private use. A hot tub and deck by the lake has been added for your pleasure. We provide amenities. Just bring your own food and personal items.
