I’m behind on weeks! We had a great group of women a couple weeks ago. Terry spent two weeks with us and absolutely rocked it. Such a fun group, lots of laughs and fun all around.

Trailing cows with my girls for the first time was a dream come true.

If riding with your kids on a ranch is something you have only dreamt of, give us a call. June is a great month for families to visit. Our website says ages 14 and older, but if you have a group and can fill a couple cabins, we can probably work something out with you! I have some wonderful babysitter horses and your kids don’t have to ride alone, we can pony them for you as well.

I love ranch life and I have hoped that that will pass down to them and that they will love is just as much, whether they chose to do it in the future or not.
Fridays are short days at school and one of our guests decided not to ride the last day, which happened to leave our angel girl, Red available. We rearranged a couple saddles and off we went. Believe me when I say my mama heart was a little stressed. But Red took care of my oldest and Simba packed me and my youngest like a perfect gentlemen… something I never thought he would handle (especially with her little squeals and airplane arms).

At the end of the 4 hour push, we were sweaty (especially me and Circe) and dusty. Our smiles were big and our hearts were full

July.

By the time summer starts rolling the mountains are really calling. July was a great month with week after week of wonderful guests. Gorgeous days, lots of laughs.

I am blessed to spend my days in the saddle, pushing cows with a good dog, great and soon to be great horses and working with people I love.

Last week in the mountain. A great group, hot days, chasing shade. It hit 100 degrees at the ranch so we had come up to cow camp on Tuesday and stayed until Friday.

When I say we came off the mountain dirty… it is not an understatement…
