We currently have a vacancy for a Guest Service Representative. Dynamic people who work as a team and who seek to bond with a positive environment are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Practice customer service behaviors, such as listening, initiative, responsiveness, joy, accommodation, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism.
Demonstrates good communication skills and helps ensure optimal communication between all guests, all shifts, departments, and administration.
Check in and out of guests in a cheerful and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Ensures accurate charge processing and completes / balances end-of-shift reports with full carry-over to next shift
Operates the switchboard professionally and efficiently, receives and transfers calls, takes guest messages completely and accurately, and notifies guests of messages
Observes safe cash handling procedures required by company policy and is responsible for the cash register, cash and credit card information transactions for the shift.
Accurately takes and records advance reservations and confirms requests
Maintains a clean and organized lobby and reception area that includes restocking coffee and amenities
Qualifications: & Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old or older
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Inexperienced applicants are encouraged to apply
Experience in other hotels or in a comparable service industry in dealing with clients is a plus!
Previous experience in the PMS system is a bonus!
Bilingual in any language is a plus!
Be able to lift 20 lbs without assistance
Has reliable form of transportation to get to work on time
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Will approve a pre-employment background check
Willing to wear a uniform or adhere to a dress code
Can speak, read and write English language proficiently
Available and willing to work a schedule with varying hours on a daily basis
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time during a shift
