They say three’s a crowd, but try squeezing in with 100,000 new friends!

On August 6th, Lake Anna welcomed approximately 100,000 new residents—Hybrid Striped Bass fingerlings! This marks the 7th consecutive year of stocking as part of our ongoing efforts to manage the lake’s fisheries. Each year, Lake Anna receives around 200,000 fingerlings, split evenly between Striped Bass and Hybrid Striped Bass (10 per acre each). Whether you're a seasoned angler or just casting a line for fun, there's a lot to look forward to. Curious about catching these swimmers?
