Check out the new BARCELONA inspired room!!! Naya and I modeled the colors and vibe after our recent trip to Spain. As Airbnb hosts, Naya and I love connecting with travelers from around the world and find that through opening our home to fellow travel lovers we continue to enjoy the wanderer's spirit of hospitality, adventure, and appreciation for human connection.

This room has gone through a lot of changes! But today I can say it's the finest its ever been! The first picture shows its original state with wood paneling, old office cabinets, and some serious water damage from outside drainage issues that have since been resolved. The second evolution turned it into the Persian room with rich textile wall coverings to hide the ugly dark paneling and give it some life. This final reinvention is hopefully a winner with a gorgeous accent wall and bright yellow lights for a pop of color. Inspired by Scandinavian design, Im currently calling this the "Sweet Swedish Pad!" (other name recommendations welcomed!)

This fall, I chose to tackle a much needed project: The Oasis suite bathroom!! Many of you may remember the green floor tile and then the weird miss matched linoleum piece and the old vanity. Water had begun to seep in under the linoleum piece and was absorbed into the particle board beneath. It was a problem. My dad and I ripped out the entire floor to reveal even more water damage up the side of the shower and even into the boards behind the water spout. So... the demo began...
