The pool was NASTY! Plus we found a leak that was causing excess water bills. The leak is in process of being repaired while the pool is being cleaned and refinished. If you’re on site feel free to peek in the windows for progress. We are also painting the rest of the rec center. You can still use the tennis, and putt putt etc. The rackets and balls are at the office. We reduced onsite office staff to Thursday-Sunday to reduce employee costs. The remote staff is available to answer calls and emails 9am-9pm M-F. Everybody else on site is on maintenance and renovations as there were a lot of issues that needed (and still need) to be addressed.

Some owners have been by to see some of the first renovations in progress in person. For those who haven’t this is 1033. We were halted for about 5 weeks due to power outages that caused water lines to break in just about every unit in Phase I and II. We had to replace underground wiring to one of the transformers to repair the outage issue and we’ve repaired every leak in each of the units. I’ll post photos of that as well. It’s been a crazy couple of months. We also discovered a massive leak in the recreation center. So we took that time to also drain the pool and start refinishing it.

We started removing wallpaper in a couple of the units. As you know most of it is 3 layers thick so this is just a test to see what is underneath it as we haven't really known if the sheetrock in general was still good. We'll also be removing the popcorn ceilings and doing a nice smoothe texture throughout. As we are finalizing everything and getting ready to start construction, we'd love your ideas. Aside from the obvious of make the units look nice and be comfortable, what amenities in the units and/or on the grounds would you desire the most?

Wow!!! Did any of you see this tonight? I wasn’t prepared to see the Northern Lights at Eagle Village. 🩷
