Sometimes the most meaningful gatherings aren’t weddings or birthday parties…

Sometimes they’re celebrations of a beautiful life.

This weekend, Suite Retreat had the honor of hosting Cleo’s Celebration of Life, and it reminded me why we created this space in the first place.

Friends and family gathered to share stories, laugh, cry, enjoy food and drinks, and celebrate fifteen years of unconditional love from one extraordinary little cat. It was warm, heartfelt, and filled with so much joy alongside the tears.

What touched me most was seeing generations of people come together to support one another. The kindness, thoughtful gifts, and shared memories created an afternoon I’ll never forget.

While Suite Retreat is known for intimate weddings, showers, retreats, and celebrations, it’s also a place for honoring life’s more tender moments. Whether you’re celebrating a person, a beloved pet, a milestone, or simply gathering the people you love, we believe every meaningful story deserves a beautiful place to be shared.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. My heart is full. 🤍🐾

🐾 Our Beloved Mascot, Cleo 🐾

If you’ve attended a special event at Suite Retreat Bed & Biscotti, there’s a good chance you crossed paths with our sweet Cleo.

While she wasn’t our everyday greeter, she had a special way of making appearances during our gatherings—quietly welcoming guests, soaking up the love, and becoming an unforgettable part of celebrations.

She wasn’t just our cat. She became part of the heart and soul of Suite Retreat.

Since her passing, we’ve been reminded how many lives this little girl touched. So many of you have shared stories, photos, and memories, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

To honor her beautiful life, we’re opening our doors for Cleo’s Celebration of Life.
